BRONZE CASTING WORKSHOP (Ongoing until June 2012)

Osgoode Township Historical Society & Museum:
Every Saturday from 1pm until 3pm the Osgoode Township Museum hosts an ongoing Bronze Casting Workshop led by one of our museum members: local artist Gary Briggs. This community project is free of charge and is open to anyone who would like to participate in creating a bronze plaque or figure which will become part of the permanent museum collection documenting the people and places of the Osgoode Township. For a small fee, participants will have the option of having their work cast in bronze a second time if they would like to bring home a personal example of their work. This workshop is scheduled to continue until the end of June.
Participants can drop in on Saturday afternoons as suits their schedule to continue their artwork, and are not required to be in attendance every single week.
